For 24GHz a smaller horn fits inside the 10GHz Horn. It is fed by dual mode circular waveguide from the rear of the dish
Listen some of W5LUA's QSO with G4NNS on 24th June 2006 for #2 on 24GHz. The recording starts with both callsigns then R M, the acknowledgement of my report to W5LUA (R) and his report to me (M) then RR to confirm the QSO is complete followed by 73 (Best wishes)

The Transverter is mounted on the back of the dish feeding a horn which illuminates the Cassegrain sub reflector.
